Dancing in the Minefields
My favorite singer ever to roam the planet has a new album and his first official music video to go with it. It is very nice. The only less than positive thing I can say about it is that some of the scenes with the older couples remind me of something out of a Cialis commercial. Lets move on.
There are a few moments in this video where the musicians are just sort of randomly chilling together (40 to 48 seconds for example). I might be crazy, but it reminds of a few other videos where the participants appear at random times in random places (see below). I might be the only person in the world who sees a connection here.

LeBron officially turns heel
This has been written about for awhile now, but we finally have the video. Dreams last for so long Cleveland fans.
Scientology is Paper Clips
This has to be the most confusing commercial I’ve ever seen. It’s touchdowns and chocolate and paper clips? Paper clips? What in the world? I do have to admit that the chocolate part sounds pretty good.
It’s flirting and tasting and curiosity.
It’s music and sensation and touchdowns and chocolate.
It’s the rise and fall of civilizations and stock markets and kids on trampolines.
It’s disaster and heroism and paper clips and knowing when to breathe.
It’s fast and its slow and its rising and falling.
It’s life. And its yours.
Load the spaceship with the rocket fuel
My friend Bethany started a wrestling blog and had this video posted. With all the noise in the world today, here was one guy who actually made sense.
A Green Christmas
As the years go by…
As another NBA season comes to a close, here is a great video of NBA superstars through the years. I love this just as much now as it did when I originally saw it back in 1997. I don’t know what it is, but set just about anything to music and it becomes about 15x more emotional. I miss Larry and Magic and forgot how good Isaiah was. I love Clyde’s finger roll and Kareem’s sky hook. I love the winking, smiling, handshakes, hustle, upfakes, bankshots, crossovers, swishes, fist pumps, teamwork and passion. I love it all.
And oh how the years go by
And oh how the love brings tears to my eyes
All through the changes the soul never dies
We fight, we laugh, we cry
As the years go by…
How do I live without you?
Here is another video by a former roommate. As you might imagine, we got along well.
