I heard someone say one time that before God can use someone, he first deeply hurts that person. I have felt deeply hurt by God. I haven’t really felt used by Him in a strong way. At times yes, but usually no. My hope is that God has been at work in my life in a quiet way. I don’t feel very different. I don’t think I’ve changed much. Still, I hope God is changing me to be more like Him. I hope he will use my past – the good as well as the bad – to bring Him glory.
