Breath of Life

I think March is a tough month for those of us in the northeast cause the winter starts to drag on along with that whole seasonal affective stuff, lack of sunlight, etc.

Thank God for April and May when the ground starts to thaw out, the snow melts, and new life is brought about after a long time of deadness.   Isn’t that like God, to bring life out of death, triumph out of tragedy, beauty instead of ashes?

As an older worship songs goes: “for the day will come, when we’ll all be gathered. and the Sun will rise with healing in its wings, and all those years of pain won’t seem to matter, when our eyes behold our Teacher and our King… when I’m weary from the fight, and trying to do what’s right, you bring times of refreshing to my soul”.

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” – Acts 3:19
